MQ - MuseumsQuartier
the viennese MuseumsQuartier consists of different museums, where you can find a lot of art galleries. but you don't have to visit one of the museum - there are many other things to do in this lovely place! in the yard are many little cafes and restaurants and in the middle are funny reclining furniture, called 'Enzis', where you can hang out with some friends. In the summer evenings there are often DJs and live acts and in autumn you can enjoy the MQ Fashion Week!
WUK - Werkstatt & Kuturhaus
if you're looking for a nice place to drink a beer, the yard of the WUK is perfect for you! in the buildings around this yard are often cultural events, concerts and workshops for young and old!
Cafe Europa
The Cafe Europa is my favourite cafe in town! the atmosphere is always nice, you can meet interesting new people, the music is usually good and the mango-apple juice tastes amazing! :)
Burggarten
the Burggarten is a park in the centrum of Vienna. many students hang out there, to study or to meet some friends. it's ideal for little children too. if you're interested in butterflies, you can visit the Schmetterlingshaus ('House Of Butterflies'). and if you're hungry, you can take a seat in the Cafe - Brasserie - Bar Palmenhaus.
Restaurant/Bar Freiraum
Freiraum is one of vienna's hippest places for eating and drinking. They have a big selection of delicious meals, everything is homemade & the ingredients are all biologic. The service is quick and the homemade juices & lemonades are fantastic!
